Benefits and Supports for Smoking Cessation!

Did you know that within 20 minutes of smoking your last cigarette, your heart rate drops and your body begins a series of other changes that continue for years? At 12 hours after quitting, the carbon monoxide level in your blood drops to normal. Click here to learn how your health improves after weeks, months and years of not smoking! You may be surprised.

Health Coaches

Health Coaches are specially trained health care professionals (nurses, respiratory therapists and dietitians) with 10 to 15 years experience. They are available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you understand your health issues and provide support.

Personal Health Assessment (PHA)

The PHA is a simple and easy-to-complete survey that provides you with a comprehensive personal action plan to help you identify your personal health risks. Available online, by telephone or in paper (call 1-800-817-7044 for the last two options).
