Stork Rewards for Mother's Day
Are you expecting this Mother's Day? Do something special for yourself with the Stork Rewards program. Expectant moms can get a personal maternity coach, handy pre-natal resources and — best of all — hundreds of dollars in delivery room savings. All at no extra cost to Plan members.
The Stork Rewards program is open to pregnant members (dependent children are not eligible). To qualify, members must call a maternity coach at NC HealthSmart for an initial assessment during their first trimester and complete one action item, as determined with a coach, for each trimester following enrollment in the program.
Qualifying participants will have their inpatient hospital copay waived at the time of delivery. Depending on your plan, the copay waiver is:
- $233 for members enrolled in the 80/20 Standard plan
- $291 for those enrolled in the 70/30 Basic plan
As a participant, you will also receive an empowering book to guide you through pregnancy and newborn care. You can also tap into numerous maternity resources available on your Personal Health Portal through the State Health Plan's website at www.shpnc.org.
