Long-Term Care
Long term care insurance will pay for full-time medical or support services if you should suffer a debilitating medical condition. Examples of such conditions include strokes, Alzheimer's Disease, or prolonged serious illnesses. As with life insurance policies, the earlier you enroll in long term care insurance, the lower the monthly premiums will be.
The State Health Plan has contracted with Prudential Financial to provide state employees' long term care benefits under a group plan. You can learn details about the benefits at Prudential’s Web site.
