2008 Preferred Drug List
pharmacistThe 2008 Preferred Drug List (PDL) is now available. Members are encouraged to take a copy of the Preferred Drug List to every doctor visit to save money when the doctor may prescribe lower-cost generics. Click here for an online PDL.

In addition, in an effort to keep members educated about their pharmacy benefits and enable them to make well-informed choices, the State Health Plan has developed a pharmacy newsletter. Pharmacy Wise provides valuable pharmacy benefit information and cost-saving tips. It also highlights resources available through NC HealthSmart, the State Health Plan's healthy living initiative.  Click here for a copy of Pharmacy Wise.
