I am very pleased to announce the coming launch of Member Focus -- the State Health Plan's new electronic publication. This monthly e-newsletter will include articles for members about how to stay healthy and save money, along with recipes and fitness tips. Member Focus is part of our commitment to provide timely, pertinent information to members about their pharmacy and health benefits.

Member Focus will be issued electronically on the third Tuesday of each month, following the launch on August 18, 2009.

I encourage members to sign up for Member Focus today, if they haven't already done so.  Subscribe on the State Health Plan Web site at www.shpnc.org.  New subscribers will be asked to provide a business or personal e-mail address.  We look forward to this opportunity to bring relevant news to our members, and will request feedback in a readership survey in first quarter 2010.
